Alexander Solovarov is a Visual Director, working internationally. Building visual systems for brands and cultural projects across object, image, and space.

I am Alexander Solovarov, a synthesizing artist and creator of mixmodernism. By creating new connections between art and other fields, I explore topics from the unification of cultures to personal self-discovery

Approach

Different worlds, one form
My practice exists where disciplines meet — translating the visual language of one world into the form of another. Each project becomes a synthesis of techniques, stories, and meanings — a search for a language in which different disciplines begin to speak to one another. From fashion shows to cultural festivals, from sculptural objects to spatial environments — in pursuit of a single visual world that unites them.
In my work, I have an ever-expanding interest in many areas and am guided by an awareness in the potential of technology to support creativity and expand my visual language. This is how I synthesize visual solutions to present complex concepts and ideas in a new form.

Mixodernism

A working philosophy
Mixodernism is a method I work by and a position I hold. It treats every discipline, period, and reference as a living language, to be understood before it is combined. Not mixing for effect alone, but combining for meaning. Not erasing what came before, but translating it forward.

Work together

Projects, talks, conversations
I collaborate with brands, cultural institutions, and creative producers — building visual systems across formats. Open to commissions, long-form partnerships, and projects that don't fit a single category. Equally open to talks, lectures, editorial work, and podcasts — wherever there's a real conversation about visual practice today.
Let's create a wonderful project together!
Let's make something great.
